Our Mission

To strengthen our environmental, social and governance measures throughout the entirety of our business function to embrace a sustainable culture within and provide a sustainable service to our customers. Protecting the planet and its people is at the heart of everything we do.

What do we do?

With the environment being one of our primary focuses, we have put many supporting factors into place
to ensure we’re doing our part.

Waste Management

We have introduced a waste management system for mixed recyclables and WEEE waste to encourage recycling where possible.

Energy Recovery

Our domestic and sanitary waste providers (Veolia and PHS) dispose of these using Energy Recovery Sites to divert landfill.

Output Monitoring

We monitor our CO2 production and landfill contribution through our waste disposal to ensure this is reducing year on year.

Our Premises

We do our best to ensure that we look after the environment in the best ways possible. In addition to the previously mentioned areas, we also bear in mind further premises operational functions for the lowest impact possible.

  • We have replaced our company fleet with hybrid models to reduce our carbon emissions.
  • The water and room temperature are controlled by eco-friendly air conditioning units.
  • Report on our annual carbon emissions in relation to our facilities, air conditioning and facilities to SECR.
  • Our premise is lit only by LED lighting.
  • Heating and lighting are scheduled to save energy waste overnight.
  • Teams meetings are encouraged where practical to reduce the number of additional cars driving to the site.
  • Car sharing is encouraged, and a platform is available to help find car-sharing buddies.
  • Office chairs are repaired and resold by a third-party provider.
  • Our procurement of office stationery, equipment, refreshments are all focused on sustainability and choosing green options.

Social

Not only are operational topics a focus for us, but social benefits for our team are also considered.

  • The coffee beans we supply in our coffee machines are supplied by Mozzo, who donate part of their profit to the C2C Fund. This supports efforts such as the building of the first-ever maternity clinic on Idjwi Island in partnership with the female-led cooperative Rebuild Women’s Hope (RWH).

Our Social Committee
